Concert Dress

The Premier Orchestra is required to dress in the mode of a professional orchestra for concert performances.

Masculine Option

  • Black tuxedo (used tuxedos are available at various formalwear stores in the area)

  • White long-sleeved dress shirt (tux-style or pointed collar is acceptable)

  • Black bow tie, socks, and dress shoes (no tennis shoes)

Note: Tuxedo Den may be contacted for a fitting session.  They offer a great price on complete ensembles and have been a long-time partner with SYS.

Feminine Option

  • Two piece black outfit, on top either a full or 3/4 sleeve blouse and on bottom either a full length skirt or palazzo pants. Appropriate examples can be found at www.concertblack.com.  However, you may choose to purchase with the vendor of your choice as long as the styling and materials are similar.
