The Sacramento Youth Symphony Premier Orchestra presents Bucolic Landscapes. The 75-piece orchestra, under the direction of Maestro Ryan Murray, will perform Alexander Borodin’s theatrical Symphony No. 2. Often regarded as his most important large-scale work, the composer’s biographer gave it the nickname, the Heroic Symphony. Other works include BedÅ™ich Smetana’s most famous work, The Moldau, and Ernesto Lecuona’s beautiful Andalucia Suite.
