Ed Keller

Ed Keller’s 40+ year career is roughly split between non-government endeavors and State government service. He has started two small businesses, was a commercial loan officer, prepared tax returns, and worked within the skiing and sporting goods business as a buyer, manager and trainer. In State government he has been an auditor, trainer and facilitator for EDD and CalSTRS. As an auditor, he brings a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluating and improving the effectiveness of risk management, internal control, and governance processes.

His personal passions have also shaped who he is. He is a snow skier, photographer, endurance cyclist, car enthusiast, real estate investor/manager and an investor in different financial markets. As an investor he has blended behavioral economic and technical analysis, with quantified economics and statistics.

He currently serves on three non-profit boards, is a volunteer for Make-A-Wish and is a staff volunteer for his church’s youth group.
