Ingrid Tung

Ingrid is an estate planning attorney with an interest in special needs trusts, trust administration and general estate planning. After beginning her legal career in mergers and acquisitions at a large law firm in Palo Alto, Ingrid moved to Chapel Hill, North Carolina to start a family and to found the Suzuki Academy of North Carolina, a nonprofit violin school, where she maintained her own violin studio.  There, Ingrid was able to focus on her passions for pedagogy and music.

Now that she is back in California and back in the law, Ingrid is thrilled to serve on the board of the Sacramento Youth Symphony where she can help SYS fulfill its mission and provide children with the types of musical experiences, relationships and skills that shaped her as a child, and because she loves the Sacramento region and believes it deserves a world-class youth orchestra program.

Ingrid enjoys food, design, the color orange and the water. She swam from Alcatraz to San Francisco once, but is fairly certain she could not do it now. She and her husband, Nathan Wieler, enjoy listening to their two sons practice trumpet and classical guitar.
